Freshman outside hitter Amber Smith finished with 18 kills to help Webster Schroeder overcome an early deficit to defeat Fairport in four sets in a Monroe County volleyball match on Wednesday.

Katie McKrell added 40 assists for the Warriors (9-3, 5-3), who won 15-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-23.

Michelle Kott had 11 kills and Tessa Ooyama added nine kills for Fairport (10-3).

Gates Chili 18-25-25-25, Spencerport 25-22-18-20

Jessica Jenkins had 9 kills, 4 digs and 3 aces and Sedria Thomas finished with five kills and four blocks for Gates Chili (10-3).

Christa White had 10 kills and 10 blocks for Spencerport (7-7).

Pittsford Sutherland 25-25-25, Irondequoit 16-21-17

Rebecca Gainsburg had 10 digs and five aces for the Knights (11-2).

Kristen Plukas had 10 digs for Irondequoit (10-4).

Brianna DiGiovanni recorded 10 aces and eight kills and Sarah Stanislow chipped in 12 assists for RSD.

Haley Kusak defeated Rachel Hermann 6-0, 7-5 at first singles to clinch the match for the Knights (13-1).

Corin Deloge and Elizabeth Reid won 6-1, 6-1 at first doubles and Audrey Knorr picked up a 6-0, 6-2 first singles victory for the Red Raiders (14-2).

Vicki Gammons and Shannon Barg won 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 at first doubles for Aquinas (7-8).
