Fort Collins senior Erin Hooker set a school and course record at the Titan Thunder Invitational on Saturday with a time of 17 minutes, 36 seconds at the Fountain Creek Regional Park in Fountain.

Hooker’s dominating performance helped lead a Fort Collins sweep for the day. Both the boys and girls finished first at the meet. Devynn Miller came in fourth with a time of 18:26 for Fort Collins. Seven girls finished in the top 30 for the Lambkins.

On the boys side, the top finisher from Fort Collins was Luke Sheesly, who finished in sixth place with a time of 16:28. Ben Ervin and Nick Keller followed right behind, in seventh and eighth place, respectively. Eight Fort Collins runners finished in the top 25.

FOOTBALL

HOLYOKE 29, RES. CHRISTIAN 28 — A late touchdown and two-point conversion by Holyoke dropped Resurrection Christian’s record to 2-3 on the season. No stats reported.

SOFTBALL

POUDRE 5, BOULDER 1 — Two runs in the first inning and three in the fifth helped propel Poudre to victory. Pitcher Sarah Johnson got the victory, striking out seven without walking a batter.

Laura Hanna went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI, while Johnson also starred at the plate, driving in four on the game.

“We played good defense, but our hitting was flat today,” Poudre coach Christy Malara said. “We just need to make the adjustments. We have two big games ahead of us that we need to focus on now.”

LEGACY 2, FORT COLLINS 0 — Legacy pitcher Shania Leon held the Lambkins scoreless, allowing only three hits. Fort Collins stranded six runners on base. Autumn Anderson pitched a solid game for Fort Collins, allowing only four hits while striking out three and walking only one.

FOSSIL RIDGE 21, MOUNTAIN RANGE 10 –The SaberCats (15-2, 8-1 Front Range League) had innings of seven, six and four runs en-route to victory. No individual stats were available.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN 11, MONARCH 1 — The Lobos third-straight win moved their record to 7-10 on the season. Megan Rhead went 2-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Madison Nigro had three hits and an RBI.

BOYS SOCCER

ROCKY MOUNTAIN 1, FAIRVIEW 1 — Lucas Costanza-Chavez scored on a volley off of a corner kick from Jake Brooks to help the Lobos tie . Rocky Mountain is now 4-4-2, 2-1-2 in FRL play.
