At Appleton, the Lightning increased the defensive pressure at the end of the first quarter, which helped it outscore North St. Paul 21-8 in the second quarter en route to the win.

Meg Riebau led the Lightning with 16 points.

“She was the most consistent player of the night from the field,” Lightning coach Joe Russom said.
