MODOC, Ind. – Union halted Centerville 3-2 on Thursday, winning 11-25, 25-12, 24-26, 25-9, 15-10.

Lisa Rodriguez had 43 assists for the Rockets and Courtney Kinnaman added 26 kills.

Union City swept

MT. SUMMIT, Ind. – Blue River halted Union City 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.

Brittany Osborne had five kills to lead the Indians, Lyndsay Pearson had 15 digs and Lyndsie Hill had three aces, while Kelsea Miller had 10 assists.

Union County falls to Rushville

Rushville defeated Union County 5-0 on Tuesday.

Elijah Oswald had four saves for the Patriots, while Austin Harrison had six.

Seton gets a tie

INDIANAPOLIS – Santiago Velandia and Charlie Stiens both scored goals as Seton Catholic tied Indianapolis Metropolitan 2-2 on Wednesday.

Cody Bishop had an assist on Velandia’s score, while Stiens’ goal came on a penalty kick.

Richmond knots up Franklin County

BROOKEVILLE, Ind. – Chloe Conley and Julia Black both scored a goal on Thursday as Richmond tied Franklin County 2-2.

Sierra Lesh claimed medalist honors as she fired a 37 at Highland Lake on Thursday to lead the Bulldogs to a 203-219 victory over Eastern Hancock.

Lincoln squeezes past Hagerstown

CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – Lincoln swept singles play on Thursday as the Golden Eagles downed Hagerstown 3-2 on Thursday.

Kyle Richardson, Tyler Klein and Eric Underwood won at singles for Lincoln. Hagerstown’s Chris Stevens and Cole Watson and Dominic Sartain and Michael Weiss won at doubles for the Tigers.

SINGLES — No. 1 – Kyle Richardson (LIN) def. Ben Tinkle 6-2, 6-3; No. 2 – Tyler Klein (LIN) def. Jonah McKissick 6-3, 6-2; No. 3 – Eric Underwood (LIN) def. Kyle Libby 6-2, 6-4.

Centerville still unbeaten

LIBERTY, Ind. – Centerville improved to 5-0 in the TEC and 9-0 overall on Thursday with a 5-0 sweep of Union County.

Eric Josephson, Jacob Thompson and Adam Spencer all had singles victories for the Bulldogs, while Chandler Howell and Brady Wagenknecht won at No. 1 doubles and Mickey Barnes and Alex Hill did the same at No. 2.

Centerville plays at this weekend’s Merrilville Invitational.

Winchester sweeps Jay County

PORTLAND, Ind. – Dustin Detro, Jalen Cox and Avery Walker won at singles for Winchester as the Falcons swept Jay County 5-0 on Tuesday.

Jack Roberts and Gavin Cox won at No. 1 doubles for the Falcons, while Isaiah Davis and Marcus Melton did the same at No. 2.

SINGLES — No. 1 – Dustin Detro (WIN) def. Landry Inmen 7-6, 7-6; No. 2 – Jalen Cox (WIN) def. Josh Martin 6-2, 6-1; No. 3 – Avery Walker (WIN) def. Garhett Blackford 6-3, 6-0.

Northeastern runs win streak to 19

LEWISVILLE, Ind. – Eric Yandl finished first in the boys race as Northeastern won its 18th and 19th consecutive dual matches with victories over Tri High and Lincoln on Thursday.

Kayli Burke won the girls race in 23:48 to lead Lincoln to victory. The Golden Eagles had 23 points to 32 for Tri High. Northeastern did not field a full team. Taylor Benner was the Knights’ top finisher in fourth.

Yandl finished in 18:32. Lincoln’s Houston Cornett was second. The Knights tallied 29 team points to 48 for Lincoln and 50 for Tri.

Hagerstown rolls past Driver

Hagerstown swept Winchester’s Driver Middle School football teams with the seventh graders winning 26-0 and the eighth graders winning 20-0 on Thursday.

Owen Golliher scored three touchdowns to lead the Tiger seventh graders (2-0), while Jared Andis threw a touchdown pass and ran for another to lead the eighth graders (1-3).

Hagerstown’s eighth grade volleyball team defeated Randolph Southern 25-14, 25-13 on Thursday.

Seton volleyball wins

The Seton Catholic seventh grade volleyball moved to 6-0 by defeating the St. Michael’s Trojans 25-9, 25-12 on Thursday.

Sarah Dickman had eight service aces and two kills, Rebekah Johnston had five services and four kills to lead the Cardinals.

The eighth graders also won 25-24, 25-17, 15-11 with Erin Barrett and Maggie Westjohn each contributing five kill.

Dennis falls to Test

Paityn Farris led the Dennis eighth grade volleyball team with two aces, four kills and five digs and Molly Daniels had two aces, three kills, six assists and two digs in Wednesday’s loss to Test.

Kaitlyn Rice had two aces to lead the Dennis seventh grade in a 16-25, 25-22, 15-13 loss to Test.
