ANNANDALE – Dassel-Cokato ended the season for the St. Cloud Cathedral volleyball team with a 3-2 win in a South Sub-Section 6-2A semifinal match on Tuesday. Game scores were 25-21, 21-25, 25-8, 23-25, 15-5.

Jenna Januschka had 21 kills and 23 digs, while Sophie Harris set 41 assists and notched 19 digs for Cathedral (18-11-1). The Chargers play Litchfield for the sub-section title at 8 p.m. Thursday in Sauk Rapids.

MAPLE LAKE 3, BECKER 0

MAPLE LAKE – Senior Shelby Rachel had six ace serves, seven digs and seven kills to lead the Irish. Game scores were 25-16, 25-12, 25-12.

Bemidji 3, Monticello 2

MONTICELLO – Jess Yost had 17 kills to lead the Lumberjacks. Match scores were 25-22, 26-28, 20-25, 25-18 and 15-8.

UPSALA 3, SEBEKA 2

LONG PRAIRIE – Upsala (26-6) won 25-19, 18-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-13.

The Cardinals were led by senior Amiee Pelzer who finished with 26 kills, 33 digs and 19 set assists. Tracy Herzog had 12 kills and 14 digs and Makenna Peterson added 10 kills.

Upsala faces Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 6 p.m. Thursday at Pierz.

Stillwater 6, St. Cloud 3

STILLWATER – Zach Michels scored a pair of goals and Mikey Slonski added another for the Thunder (3-5). Goalkeeper Kyle Kuchenmeister had 35 saves for St. Cloud.

Carleton 2, St. John’s 0

NORTHFIELD – Top-seeded Carleton won in the MIAC semifinals, ending the season for the Johnnies (9-6-4).
