A blocked punt by Holy Cross in the third quarter resulted in a safety and broke a 14-14 tie as the Knights topped Stepinac 16-14 at Bayside. Malcolm Major had a 4-yard touchdown run and a 34-yard touchdown catch. Danny Hoffer completed 9 of 23 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Suffern 16, Mount Vernon 14: At Mount Vernon Saturday, Jason Lorvillion returned a fumble 40 yards for a touchdown. Lorvillion also caught a five-yard pass from Chris Gragnani for a touchdown. Lamont Albert had a 27-yard rush for a touchdown for the Knights.

Irvington 31, Ardsley 28: At Irvington Saturday, Josh Grotenstein ran for a 10-yard touchdown to put the Bulldogs ahead in the fourth quarter. Dillon D’Arrigo was 9 for 13 with 64 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Spring Valley 22, Byram Hills 8: At Spring Valley Saturday, Midnet Cantave returned an interception 76 yards for a touchdown. Miles Cash had a 75-yard touchdown run. Chris Forest had 16-yard rush for a touchdown. Connor Morley had 26 carries for 140 yards and Brady Condron had four tackles for a loss for the Bobcats.

Boys soccer: Rodrigo Campos had two goals in Port Chester’s 2-1 win over Ossining at Ossining Saturday. Jose Gonzalez had 10 saves. Steven daFonte had one goal for the Pride.

Byram Hills 6, Rye 0: At Rye Saturday, Jon Berry had three goals. Josh Beinhacker, Samuel Ganeles and Spencer Gordon each scored.

Hen Hud 2, Peekskill 0: At Hen Hud Saturday, Steven Pinski and Anton Sterlini each scored. Marcus DePonteis (6) and Joe Gallo combined to make 11 saves in the shutout. Axel Castillo had 10 saves for the Red Devils.

Girls soccer: Lucy Kohlhoff had two goals in Bronxville’s 2-0 win over Westlake in the consolation game of the Broncofest Tournament at Bronxville. Caroline Cory had one assist. Charly Warble had five saves in the shutout. Bianca Cevallos had 12 saves for the Wildcats.

North Salem 5, Panas 4: At North Salem Saturday, Brenna Brown had three goals. Camilla Fay had nine saves. Kayla Moore had two goals for the Panthers.
