Blue Division: Nixa rolls West Plains in semifinal

By

Nixa rolled to another Blue Division final today, cruising against West Plains 85-51 to move on.

Jalen Norman and Austin Ruder starred again for the Eagles. On Thursday, the pair both passed the 200-point mark for career Blue and Gold games. They became the 17th and 18th members of the 200-point club.

Top-seeded Nixa will play for its third consecutive Blue Division championship at 6 p.m. against the winner of the Mount Vernon/Ozark game, which is under way.

The Eagles will meet rival Ozark in tomorrow’s 6 p.m. final at JQH Arena.

Ozark snuck by Mount Vernon 59-58 this evening after Zane Phillips’ 3-pointer of the buzzer was just short.

Ozark’s Brett Krisik had a game-high 17 points despite being in foul trouble down the stretch.

There will be some history made on Saturday: Christian County rivals Nixa and Ozark have never met in a Blue and Gold final.
