Ethan Guske had 17 points, Joseph Hameister hit three 3-pointers and Sheboygan North’s boys basketball team cruised to an 80-41 win at home Friday over Green Bay East.

Ten Golden Raiders players put points on the board in the lopsided Fox River Classic Conference victory, which preserves North’s perfect 7-0 record. The Raiders are 4-0 in the conference.

“I thought the kids shared the ball real well tonight, and everybody got a chance to play, which is good,” North coach Tom Desotell said.

“We’re real satisfied with the outcome,” Desotell said.

Antonio Ford scored 14 points for East, but it wasn’t nearly enough to keep up with the deluge of buckets North’s players put up.

Five Raiders players finished in double-digits. Behind Guske were Dan Campion and Dominic Mahn, who each notched 13 points. Hameister had 12 points — nine of which were from behind the arc — and Davis Larson tallied 11.

North hit seven 3-pointers all game.

A thin Redwings roster was no match for the talented and deep Redbirds.

With several players in street clothes due to illness and injuries, South (0-8, 0-4 FRCC) was forced to play at times with five sophomores on the floor.

“We had good effort by our guys,” South coach Tim Schultz said. “De Pere’s a very good team. We were kind of dealt a tough had tonight, we were a little short-handed and we had a good team coming in (here) too.”

Mitch Winter led all scorers with 21 points — including five 3-pointers — for De Pere (5-1, 4-0).

Matt Schroeder led the Redwings with nine points.
