Dickson County’s Jequan Lewis scored 50 points, hitting nine 3-pointers in a 72-50 win over Grandview (Mo.) at the State Farm Tournament of Champions in Peoria, Ill.
Lewis broke tourney record formerly held by Kedren Johnson, a current Vanderbilt player who played at Marshall County.
Ravenwood 88, Waverly 86: Joey Barnes scored five of Ravenwood’s 11 points in overtime. Barnes led the Raptors (3-1) with 23 points. J’Honathyn Smith scored 27 points, including four 3-pointers, for Waverly. Smith also scored off a rebound at the buzzer to send it to OT.
Centennial 66, Cane Ridge 63: Matt Pond scored 39 points, including a 3-pointer that sent it into OT, for Centennial (3-1) in the Leroy Wright Invitational semifinals. Adrian Scott and DeQuan Bond scored 17 each for Cane Ridge (1-3).
Hillsboro 66, McGavock 42: Jamonte Davis scored 16 points to lead Hillsboro (4-0) in the Leroy Wright Invitational semifinals.
