In a back and forth game, Campbellsport beat Kewaskum with less than 6 minutes left to earn a 4-3 EWC road win on Monday.
Ryan Costello scored the game’s only first half goal. But things got more interesting in the second half with three Indians scoring to go with two goals by Joe Casper and Tanner Gremminger’s game winner assisted by Jack Adams at 74:41.
Two Rivers 1, New Holstein 0
A poor pass between New Holstein defenders was intercepted by Cameron Greene, who turned it into the game’s only goal as the Two Rivers boys soccer team beat New Holstein 1-0 on Monday.
Greene’s goal came in the 72nd minute. Huskies goalie Athly Sabish made six saves, while his Two Rivers counterpart was called into action to make 10 saves.
“Unfortunately we are winless right now in conference, but we could just as easily be 3-0 if just a handful of plays went differently,” New Holstein coach Nate Laabs said. “We are still young and need to keep working hard and eventually things will start to happen.”
