Boys soccer roundup: Red Raiders finish 3-0, take title in own invitational

PULASKI – Pulaski finished the Pulaski Invitational with a 3-0 record to win the tournament, defeating Sturgeon Bay 1-0, Shawano 3-0 and West De Pere 3-0 on Saturday.

Kyle Berg and Ian Duke each had two goals on the day while Ryan Hansen, Sean Cropper and Aiden Maye scored once for the Red Raiders (7-1).

Logan Vandenhouten got all three victories in goal.

West De Pere went 1-2, beating Green Bay West 5-0 in its only win of the tournament.

Osvaldo Ramirez and Baldy Ramirez had two goals apiece and Gabriel Morales also scored against West for the Phantoms (3-3).

» BROOKFIELD – Green Bay Preble placed second in the Al Gusho Tournament at Brookfield East High School, falling to Milwaukee Marquette in a shootout in the championship game.

Evan Garcia and Edgar Landeros each scored once and Audi Jepson had a pair of assists for the Hornets, which fell 7-6 in the shootout after being tied 2-2 in regulation.

In the semifinals, Garcia, Jepson and Luis Franco each had a goal as Preble beat Waukesha West 3-2.
