Fossil Ridge’s Tyler Bricker missed winning medalist honors by a stroke on Monday at the Greeley West Invitational, but he did lead the SaberCats to the team title at Highland Hills Golf Course.
Bricker, a senior, shot a 2-over 74, finishing a shot behind Estes Park’s Josh Dillon. The SaberCats finished with a team score of 232. Columbine was second at 236 and Rocky Mountain, led by Ryan Willmot’s 77, was third at 241. Windsor’s Brett Krantz tied Willmot for third with a 77 to help the Wizards to a tie for sixth place while Fossil’s Eric Hill had a 78.
Poudre’s Sam Loftis shot an 81 to lead the Impalas, which finished tied for ninth. Fort Collins was led by Hunter Paugh’s 86 to help the Lambkins to a tie for 14th.
