BROOMFIELD – Broomfield High School football coach Gary Davies was placed on paid administrative leave from the school following an incident after the Eagles October 12th game at Standley Lake High School.

Sgt. David Watts of the Broomfield Police department told 9NEWS that Davies is accused of yelling at and making physical contact with a member of the Broomfield High School training staff.

Broomfield Police are recommending one charge of harassment against Davies and they expected to submit the report to the Adams County District Attorney on Tuesday.

Davies has been the coach of the Broomfield football team for 25 years.
