Three words to describe yourself: Energetic, outgoing, athletic
The team has has some ups and downs this season, but now you guys seem to be playing solid volleyball. What turned things around?: We stayed positive even when we were losing. We kept an open mind to what coach (Ken Zoromski) was asking us to do. We started to execute better and started winning matches again.
You run track, but not cross country. How did you arrive at that decision?: I love volleyball and running and thought if I ran track I could still play volleyball in the fall. Running track didn’t eliminate me from playing volleyball.
Volley for a Cure was another big success. What makes it such a great event?: First, it brings a lot of people together for awareness for a good cause. And it’s great for volleyball to bring that many people in to see us play.
People would be surprised that I like to__?: Play badminton. I really get into it in gym class and if we had a competitive badminton team, I’d be on it.
What is it about the East-West rivalry that makes it special?: When you play your crosstown rival, it’s always a competitive game and you want to win even more because they are one of your biggest rivals.
