At 132, Caleb Price was 4-1 and finished in third place. Chris Powell was eighth at 145, and Christian Collins was the champion at 160. Daiquan Hall was eighth at 182, and Tommy Dunn was third at 195. Austin Mathis was third at 220, and Tyler Howard finished eighth at 285.
At the same meet, Adena was 10th out of 11 teams, with the Warriors leaving five of the weight classes empty.
“It was another great opportunity for our boys to learn and make a statement that we are here to stay,” Warriors coach Heath Bennett said.
At 106 pounds, Nic Peecher was third, and Caleb Bennett was fourth at 152. Brody Anderson was seventh at 160, and Mike Crispen was seventh at 170.
“Overall, it was a great day, with great effort,” Bennett said. “It’s another step as this group lays the foundation for wrestlers that come in the near future.”
