WAUKEE, Ia. – Tanner Hinkle hit a grand slam to finish Valley’s win Wednesday over Waukee in five innings and earn a trip to state. Austin Stephens was the winning pitcher and contributed a home run. Valley will face Iowa City West in the first round July 25.

FORT DODGE, Ia. – Will Gormally pitched a four-hitter in a victory for the Dodgers. Isaac Lehman started and ended the Dodgers’ scoring with a home run in the second and an RBI hit in the fifth. Tommy Halligan added a triple in the fifth and Devon Harms had an RBI double.
