Cross Country: Sheridan girls 10th at Midwest Meet of Champions

At Hilliard Bradley, a balanced effort allowed the Sheridan girls to place 10th out of 13 teams in the Race of Champions division.

Andrea Mick led the way, crossing the line in 25th (19:50) as Jessi Habegger finished 48th (20:16), Denae Forgrave 56th (20:32), Katy Foltz 63rd (20:55) and Heather Findlay 66th (21:01) out of 90 runners.

Matt Bromley came in 18th (16:12) out of 134 runners to pace the boys, who were 17th out of 19 teams in the Race of Champions Division. Zach Hanf was 81st (17:21), Joey Palumbo 89th (17:29), Garrett Gwinn 118th (18:06) and Clay Fisher 120th (18:11).

At Pickerington North, Matthew Newsom placed 53rd in 17:47 as the Scotties were 19th out of 34 boys teams in the Panther Invitational.

Matt Gray finished 84th (18:06) and Andrew Gray 98th (18:18) for Tri-Valley.

James Sheets came in 14th (16:50) and Trace Schaad 97th (18:15) for Morgan, which was 27th in the boys race.

The Morgan girls were 23rd as Baylee Garrett placed 37th (20:52), while the Tri-Valley girls came in 26th behind Alaina Spears, who was 69th (21:47).
