Arlington (Texas) senior linebacker Jack Arispe had 19 tackles, forced a fumble and had a quarterback pressure to help Arlington hold off Timber Creek (Keller) 28-16 in a Texas 5A Division II bi-district playoff game on Friday.

Nick Brossette, University Lab (Baton Rouge)
Tied Glen “Big Baby” Davis’ school record by rushing for five touchdowns, all in the first half, in a 52-14 playoff defeat of Loreauville on Friday. Davis, is now with the NBA’s Orlando Magic.
Derrick Henry, Yulee (Fla.)
Broke Ken Hall’s 59-year-old record for most career rushing yards by a high school player in a 41-26 playoff defeat of Taylor County on Friday. Henry rushed for 482 yards and all six of his team’s touchdowns.
Davis Howell, Christian Academy of Knoxville (Tenn.)
Playing with a cast on his right hand, he caught 13 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-36 playoff defeat of Alcoa on Friday. He needs 16 catches to break the national record of 349, set by Ben Wonderly of Fairview (Sherwood, Ohio) from 2005 to 2008.
Joe Leslie, Ellington-Somers (Ellington, Conn.)
Threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 129 yards and three touchdowns in a 46-0 defeat of Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village) on Saturday.
Ray Lewis III, Lake Mary (Fla.) Prep
Ran for 216 yards and two touchdowns and passed for a touchdown in a 38-12 playoff defeat of Trinity Christian (Deltona) on Friday. He now holds the Seminole County career record with 89 touchdowns, one more than former Lake Howell (Seminole, Fla.) running back Marquette Smith.
Shai McKenzie, Washington (Pa.)
Ran for 293 yards and four touchdowns in a state AA semifinal 26-14 defeat of South Fayette (McDonald) on Friday.
Cord Sandberg, Manatee (Bradenton, Fla.)
In the first half of a 65-12 playoff defeat of Northeast (St. Petersburg), he threw three touchdowns and ran for a touchdown.
ArDarius Stewart, Fultondale (Birmingham, Ala.)
Ran for 351 yards on 28 carries and seven touchdowns in Fultondale’s 49-28 playoff defeat of Fyffe on Friday.
Dontre Wilson, DeSoto (Texas)
Scored six touchdowns, including four on the ground, one receiving and one on a fumble recovery in a 62-15 defeat of Waco Saturday in Region Div. I Region I playoff.
