Eagleville quarterback Ryan Jordan threw three touchdowns to help lead the Eagles to a 32-7 win over rival Forrest on Friday night at Talon Field.
Jordan threw a 50-yard touchdown to Andrew Jernigan, a 15-yard TD to Jordan Siler and a 20-yard TD to Dakota Durand. The Eagles (3-4 overall, 2-1 in 9-A) also picked off three passes on defense, including Maison Vallance’s interception returned for touchdown.
“We have played hard all year long,” Eagleville coach Steve Carson said. “But this was the first time we played well and hard.”
Community 44, MTCS 0
MTCS dug itself a big hole Friday, falling behind 21-0 in the first quarter before falling 44-0.
Zach Brandon and Tanner Green both had success running the football, but the Cougars were plagued by five turnovers.
MTCS, which fell to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in District 9-A, visits Forrest next Friday.
