Philo needed some late-game heroics to earn a draw Tuesday night in the Muskingum Valley League.
Tyler Cassady headed in a Max Harmon cross with 3:51 left in the game as the Electrics and visiting West Muskingum tied at 2 on Senior Night.
The two teams also participated in ‘Kick for the Cure’ which raised money for cancer through T-shirt sales and a 50-50 drawing, among other fundraisers.
Slade Moore put Philo (6-3-1, 11-3-1) on the board early with a goal at the 35:05 mark of the first half. The Electrics took that 1-0 lead into the half.
Will Debolt tied the game at 1 with a goal with 19 minutes left in the game, and Ammon Laulusa put West up 2-1 with five minutes remaining.
West M held a 15-6 edge in shots on goal. Jordan Swingle had 12 saves for Philo, and Phillip Duval made four saves for West M.
