The Freehold Township girls basketball team had two players in double figures as the No. 6 seed Patriots defeated No. 11 Shore Regional, 62-55, in a WOBM Christmas Classic first-round game.
Sophomore guard Samantha Famulare scored a game-high 22 points and sophomore center Tori Wagner added 20 points as the Patriots (2-2) held a 42-34 lead after three quarters. Shore Regional senior guard Gina Ruscil had a team-high 20 points while junior forward Emily Reiser added 15 points and senior guard Claudia LaMarca added 10 points.

JACKSON MEM. 74, OCEAN 35: Jackson Memorial’s Hannah Missry recorded a game-high 31 points, 18 of which came from beyond the arc, as the third-seeded Jaguars ran past the Spartans. Stephanie Mason and Morgan Williams were also in the double figures for the Jaguars with 13 and 10 points, respectively, while Gianna Kinhofer led all Ocean scorers with 10 points.
TR EAST 65, MANCHESTER 18: Kristen Kennedy scored a game-high 28 points leading the fourth-seeded Raiders over the 13th-seeded Hawks. Amanda Kennedy added 18 points for the Raiders.
Myandra Dixon scored six points for the Hawks. The Raiders will play the fifth-seeded Warriors in the next round.
MANASQUAN 53, BRICK MEM. 26: Sam Sullivan scored seven of her game-high 13 points in the first half and Amanda Hagaman tallied nine of her 12 points in the first half as the No. 5 Warriors (2-1) defeated the No. 12 Mustangs (0-4). Brick Memorial’s Justin Mangiafico scored six of her team-high nine points in the second quarter and Nicole Byrne added six of her eight points on two 3-pointers in the first half.
TR SOUTH 47, WALL 45: Victoria Alvarez scored 11 of her game-high 17 points in the first half and Anna Bojakowski added 12 points as the No. 9 Indians (3-1) defeated the No. 8 Crimson Knights (1-2). Wall’s Kelsey Thompson scored 11 of her team-high 16 points in the first half and Sydney Darby added eight of her 14 points in the first half.
JACKSON LIB. 41, TR NORTH 37: Kyosia White scored 10 of her team-high 12 points in the second half and April Szymczyk registered a team-high 12 points as the No. 10 Lions (3-1) edged the No. 7 Mariners (3-1).
Toms River North’s Nikki Gardner scored eight of her team-high 12 points in the first half and Kendal Kauffman and Christina Gerew each added 11 points.
POINT BORO 61, LACEY 38: Kerry Malleck scored 17 points and Kelly Hughes netted 14, leading the Panthers past the Lions.
Lindsay Havens scored each of her six points in the first quarter, powering the Panthers to a 20-8 lead as she put home two treys. Hughes erupted for 10 second-quarter points. Malleck hit for seven second-quarter points.
RUMSON 69, BARNEGAT 17: Grace Stant’s 17 points led the Bulldogs past the Bengals.
Stant scored 12 first-quarter points as the Bulldogs sped to a 16-5 lead. Stephanie Lesko added 11, all in the second half, including six in the fourth quarter.

MIDD. SOUTH 53, COLTS NECK 30: Senior forward Jackie Dluhi scored 10 of her game-high 13 points in the first half and added 12 rebounds and five assists as the Eagles (4-0) defeated the Cougars (3-1) in a Class A North game. Senior guard Carissa Gray added nine points and freshman guard Stephanie Karcz and senior guard Kiera Gannon each added eight points.

SOUTHERN 65, ALLENTOWN 36: Junior forward Mike Gesicki scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the first half, senior guard Zach Policastro added nine points and sophomore forward Jake Logue added six points as the Rams (4-0) defeated the Redbirds. Allentown senior guard James Jenkins scored a team-high 18 points.
ROBBINSVILLE 52, PINELANDS 43: Tim Nemazie scored nine of his game-high 16 points in the first half and Anthony Massi scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half as the Redbirds defeated the Wildcats (0-4) in a first-round game. Pinelands’ Luke Stambaugh scored all 12 of his points on four 3-pointers and Zach Schnepp added eight points.
HAMMONTON 58, JACKSON LIB. 47: James Sofield scored 15 of his team-high 20 points in the second half and David Niblack also scored 20 points as the Lions (2-2) fell to the Blue Devils.

BRICK 8, SOUTHERN 6: Andrew Reiss scored three goals and handed out three assists for the Green Dragons (3-2) in their Class A South win over the Rams (3-1). Southern’s Tom Godfrey netted three goals.
