The Pawling High School field hockey team toppled visiting Our Lady of Lourdes 4-1 on Wednesday, with Lana Felice and Izzie Grillo each contributing two goals.
Catie Dean scored for Lourdes (1-2). Catie Dickinson turned away seven Lourdes shots in goal.
“Lourdes came out fired up,” Pawling coach June Lagan said. “Fortunately, we were able to shut them down right away and get to work. … Overall, we just played well as a team today.”
Pawling (2-1) visits Hendrick Hudson on Friday.
Arlington 3, Brewster 1 — Alexis Holzmann, Nichole Tolli and Emily Stenec all registered goals before the visiting Bears could get on the board, as the Admirals improved to 3-0-1 this season.
Tolli also assisted on a goal for the Admirals, who outshot Brewster 13-2. Arlington hosts Ketcham on Friday.
John Jay 4, Roy C. Ketcham 1 –Tori Stollmer had a goal and an assist as the visiting Patriots topped the Indians.
Shannon Bennett, Morgan Dennett and Kimmy Danko also scored for John Jay (1-2). Karissa DeLuca scored for Ketcham (1-2).
Kara McConologue made 13 saves for Ketcham, while Jo Lei Buonanno made three saves for John Jay.
Ketcham coach Erin Mulligan said starting midfielder Tara Grogan rolled her ankle in the first half, which affected the cohesion of a team trying to find its way.
“We’re still struggling getting some chemistry,” Mulligan said. “Once we got it going, we had a much stronger second half.”
Spackenkill 2, Ellenville 0 — Laura Polirer and Ciara Baisley scored for the Spartans.
Katie Murray made nine saves for Spackenkill (3-1).
Red Hook 9, Dover 0 — The Raiders cruised at home, with eight different goal scorers.
Danielle Comerford scored two goals, and the Raiders got one each from Ilysa Timpanaro, Shannon Yearwood, Arianna Padilla, Olivia Bemis, Marist Parr, Jessica Osterhoudt and Summer Mosher.
Red Hook (3-0) visits Onteora on Friday.
Rhinebeck 2, Pine Bush 2 — Fionnula Murphy tied the score with 1:28 left in the second half off a Brianna Santo assist.
Pine Bush had taken a 2-0 lead before Amanda Endrizzi put Rhinebeck on the board in the 26th minute of the second half.
In goal for Rhinebeck, Rachel Paesano turned away five shots.
Kingston 6, Pine Plains 0 — Sarah Beam made 20 saves, but the visiting Bombers lost a MHAL game at Dietz Memorial Stadium.
