The Fond du Lac girls swimming team beat Appleton West/Kimberly 97.5-88.5 on Tuesday with two individual and two relay victories.

McKayla Drew won the 200-meter freestyle in 2:26.03, beating teammate Brianna Hartwig by .12 of a second, while Courtney Stubbe claimed the 50 free in 29.42.

The Cardinals’ 200 freestyle team of Jensen Bloedorn, Sydney Jaroch, Madison Bowidat and Katie Julka won their race by five seconds with a time of 2:10.44. The 400 freestyle team of Hartwig, Drew, Michaela Martin and Stubbe cruised to a win in 4:33.97.

“It was a good victory, a lot of good depth,” said Fondy coach Glen McBride. “Getting relay victories is real nice … I think our depth was a key contributor. It’s good to get a victory on the road.”
