Dominic Onwe rushed for 221 yards in what Sleepy Hollow coach Steve Borys called “the game of his life” as the Headless Horsemen upset visiting John Jay 43-36 Saturday.

Onwe, a junior, rushed for a 70-yard score to give the Headless Horsemen a three-touchdown cushion.

“He’s an unbelievable kid,” Borys said. “The other day, he leaves practice early to try out for jazz band, makes it, and then has a day like today.”

Borys added: “He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life.”

Sleepy Hollow’s Devin Lopez threw for 172 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 112 yards and two more scores.

“This was the mother of all shootouts,” Borys said. “I’ve never been in a game like that before in my life. It was one of the best high school games I’ve ever seen.”

Hackley 56, Fieldston 14: At Hackley, Mustafaa Dais scored twice, including an 85-yard kickoff return, for the Hornets. Joe McDermott and Elijah Ngbokoli also had two TDs each for Hackley. Ngbokoli’s second TD came on a 61-yard run.

Pleasantville 7, Nanuet 6: At Pleasantville, the Panthers’ Anthony Godino rushed for a 26-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Nick Greto and Cam Burns each had a fumble recovery and a sack for Pleasantville.

Panas 42, Yonkers 6: At Yonkers, Michael Zingaro had an interception. Jimmy Jackson had a 72-yard kick return. John Brophy and David Tiru both had rushing touchdowns.

Port Chester 26, Peekskill 14: At Putnamn Valley, Kyle Drummond and Jason Ippolito scored two touchdowns each for the Rams. Miguel Diaz added a 3-yard TD run to make it 20-14 with 6:32 remaining. Ramon Searight rushed for 107 yards on 13 carries.

Westlake 42, Kennedy 0: At Kennedy, Dan Bassi rushed for 150 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries. Mike Ragusa threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Rich Maio.

Rye Neck 59, Yonkers Montessori Academy 0: At Rye Neck, Ryan Morningstar had a 75-yard touchdown run, and Pedro Cueto had a 65-yard Trun. Jakob Calvini had two rushing touchdowns.

Scarsdale 41, Lincoln 0: At Scarsdale, Andy Verboys Jr. completed 8-of-15 passes for 164 yards and a touchdown and rushed for two more scores. Patrick Clarke caught two passes for 72 yards and a TD. John Cappello added 103 yards on 10 rushes.

Hen Hud 54, Riverside 8: At Riverside, Hen Hud’s Brandon Porro had a rushing and receiving touchdown and had 50 yards on six carries. Porro also blocked a punt in the end zone for a score.

Pawling 30, Albertus Magnus 28, OT: At Pawling, Nico Denise had 165 yards and a touchdown on 24 rushes for the Falcons. Denise also had a 5-yard touchdown catch. Daniel Lopez completed 6 of 9 passes for 35 yards and one score.

Woodlands 38, Hastings 19: At Hastings, Justin Riccio completed 11 of 15 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown for Woodlands. Dylan Eddy added three catches for 143 yards and a touchdown. Tyrone Barber rushed 10 times for 79 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons.

Rye Country Day 42, Roosevelt 8: At Roosevelt, Raishaun McGhee completed 3 of 4 passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns for the Wildcats. Tyler Fernandez contributed a 51-yard touchdown catch and a 16-yard touchdown run.

Putnam Valley 44, Edgemont 30: At Edgemont, Mike Walsh ran the ball for 118 yards and scored four times for the Tigers.

Beacon 21 Pearl River 14: At Pearl River, Chris Van Houten threw for 104 yards and rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown. Rob Gullo returned a punt 58 yards for a Pirates touchdown.

Clarkstown South 45, Ketcham 14: At Clarkstown South Friday, Thomas Lent and Zach Johnson combined for 296 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Ryan McManus threw for 107 yards on seven completions and had a 1-yard touchdown run. Charles Venezia made 11 tackles for the Vikings.

Ossining 39, Pelham 20: At Pelham Friday, Soloman White had 89- and 86-yard kick returns for Ossining touchdowns. Michael O’Connor had three carries for 67 yards and two touchdowns, and one reception for 30 yards. Pelham’s Aekiel Anthony had a 70- and 16-yard receptions for touchdowns.

Nyack 46, Gorton 6: At MacCalman Field in Nyack Friday, Khalid Shabazz rushed for two touchdowns, including a 55-yarder. Drewhon Bartley and Jamarr Joseph each added rushing touchdowns. Quamel Broadhurst returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown.

Mamaroneck 18, Ramapo 6: At Torne Valley Field Friday, Daniel McCarthy completed 6 of 10 passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Robby Nigro had 20 carries for 115 yards and Marquez Jackson-Allen had 11 carries for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Iona Prep 41, Xaverian 10: At Xaverian Friday, Mario Biaggi threw for three touchdowns. Chris Cooper had touchdown catches of 19 yards and 40 yards. Austin Jones had a 25-yard touchdown catch.

Mahopac 28, Arlington 14: At Mahopac Friday, Chris Rue rushed for 190 yards on 15 carries and scored two touchdowns for the Indians. Ethan Ryan completed three passes for 61 yards, including a 6-yard touchdown pass to Michael Simone.

Yorktown 42, Eastchester 27: At Panas Friday, Nick Mariano completed 7 of 8 passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns for Yorktown. Nick Bonitatibus had four carries for 112 yards, including an 87-yard touchdown run. Austin Fusco rushed for 104 yards on four carries, including a 72-yard touchdown run. Ricky Corrado had two sacks, and forced a fumble.

Valhalla 27, Briarcliff 0: At Briarcliff Friday, Miro Ronac rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown, and threw a touchdown pass. Christian Alvarado rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns.
