Jimmie Shepard rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns on just nine carries and also had a 66-yard touchdown reception as Green Bay East upset Manitowoc 40-30 on Friday in Fox River Classic Conference football.

Red Devils quarterback Brad Van Pay completed three of his eight pass attempts, but two went for scores. He also rushed for 80 yards on 18 carries.

WRIGHTSTOWN – Peter Ellis scored on a 35-yard run with 7:47 remaining in the third quarter to give the Tigers a 20-19 lead and they held on for the victory.

Wrightstown led 14-7 early in the second quarter before Brillion rallied on a 31-yard touchdown pass from Bailey Krueger to Eric Kittel and an 18-yard run by Kittel to give the Lions a 19-14 halftime lead.

Riley Schussler ran for 112 yards on 29 carries for Wrightstown. Ellis finished with 85 yards on 10 carries.

Kittel led the Lions with 120 yards on 13 carries and caught three passes for 53 yards.
