Kelsey Miler and Amanda Lowery combined for 42 points as Ridgewood raced out to an early lead en route to a 57-35 victory Saturday against host Malvern in Inter-Valley Conference girls action.
Miller finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds, and Lowery scored 19 points for the Generals (3-1, 4-2). Laura Frazee added 11 points in the win.
Logan Smalley had 15 points and Tori McKinney added eight for the Hornets (3-3, 4-3).
Ridgewood, which owned a 34-20 rebounding edge, led 14-8 after the first quarter and stretched its lead to 33-20 at halftime. The Generals outscored Malvern 24-15 in the second half.
Ridgewood also won the reserve game 35-23.
* Marietta 58, Coshocton 40: The host Tigers raced out to a 23-8 first-quarter lead and relied on the foul line to seal the win against the Redskins (3-2).
Coshocton struggled to recover after the first as Tanner Cognion had 15 points to lead the way. Curtis Blake and Kyle Corder added eight each in the loss.
Marietta, which had 15 fouls to 38 by Coshocton, was led by Corey Hill with 16 points.
The Tigers pushed their advantage to 39-20 at halftime and kept the Redskins in a double-digit deficit the rest of the way.
Marietta won the reserve game 60-42. Connor Roahrig had 10 points for the Redskins.
* Danville 49, River View 33: Hunter Winegar scored 11 points, and John Dart had 12 rebounds as the Black Bears suffered a nonleague loss against Blue Devils.
Bryce Staats had 14 points to lead Danville.
