Rachel Long scored six points and took three charges to receive a spot on the all-tournament team for the Patriots (3-0). Olivia Oppenheim scored a career-high 17 points.
John Jay and Ardsley were tied at 39 heading into the fourth quarter.
“The girls played some great defense and executed on offense in the fourth quarter to come away with the win,” John Jay coach Larry Brooks said.
John Jay will host North Salem in a non-league game on Wednesday.
“They have very good guards who push the ball in transition,” Brooks said of North Salem.
“The girls have to realize they’ll have to play 32 minutes of basketball.”
