Girls basketball roundup: Nicole DeSantis, Marlboro top Highland

Nicole DeSantis’ 16 points led the Marlboro High School girls basketball team to a 46-32 home win over Highland on Friday.

Angelica DeSantis added 10 points for Marlboro.
Tianna Pittman led Highland with nine points.
Poughkeepsie 63, North Salem 56 — E’lantra Means scored a game-high 22 points as the visiting Pioneers defeated the Tigers in overtime.
Sophomore Callia Cropp had a career-high 21 points, including going 9 for 13 at the free-throw line in the second half. Means had five 3-pointers in the game, including one in overtime.
Kiara Pittman scored 10 points for Poughkeepsie (2-2), which hosts Middletown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Wallkill 67, Franklin D. Roosevelt 58 — Ashley Merritt scored 18 points in a loss.
Allison Pritchard added 16 points for the Presidents, which received 12 points from Brittany Wilson and 10 points from Darien Demelis.
Lisa Bouffard scored a game-high 31 points for Wallkill.
Dobbs Ferry 49, Haldane 48 — Allie Monteleone scored 24 points, but the Blue Devils lost in the opening round of the Robert E. Mayclim Tournament at Croton-Harmon.
Haldane will face the loser of Friday’s late Croton-Harmon-Putnam Valley game at 3 p.m today.
Onteora 44, Spackenkill 40 — Nina Hartenfels scored 14 points and Jazmin Diggs added 10, but the visiting Spartans lost.
Coleman 58, Pine Plains 17 — Ashley Starzyk scored a team-high five points in the visiting Bombers’ defeat.
