Saunders 44, Eastchester 26: In the championship game of the Saunders Holiday Tournament Thursday, Amanda Smith scored 18 points. Amanda Kiriakos had 11. Kyra Hassler had 13 for the Eagles.

Nyack 30, Suffern 26: At Suffern, Lindsey Sundvik had 12 points in the win. Toni Johnson had eight points.

Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL) 86, Ossining 57: In the second round of the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix, Ariz., Saniya Chong had 24 points and nine assists as the Pride lost for the second time since arriving in Arizona undefeated. Andra Espinoza-Hunter scored 14 points for the Pride (4-2),., who trailed 12-0 in the game’s opening minutes. Dr. Phillips was ranked 19th in the nation by USA Today entering the tournament. Ossining came in ranked No. 21.

“They’re very big, and physical, which caused some match-up problems for us,” Ossining coach Dan Ricci said of the dreigning Florida state champions. “But our guards cause some match-up problems for them.”

Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA) 89, Ossining 67: In the first round of the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix, Ariz., Thursday, Saniya Chong had 28 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. Jalay Knowles had 10 points and 14 rebounds. Mater Dei is ranked No. 3 in the nation by USA Today.

Sacred Heart 60, Yonkers 53: In the consolation game of the Saunders tournament Thursday, Amanda Miressi had 19 points. Ashley Lennox had 14. Daniella Commisso had 27 for the Bulldogs.

North Salem 44, East Ramapo 32: At North Salem Thursday, Jenna Zappolo scored 16 points. Sydney Cardoza had 14. Daynara Elycee led the Titans with nine.

Hamden Hall 58, Holy Child 39: At Hamden Hall Thursday, Josie Amerson had 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Kennedy 48, Peekskill 33: At Kennedy, Shayna Gaskins had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Gaels, who were playing without standout forward Kiera Hennessey, who has the flu. Leah Greene had nine rebounds and six steals. Morgan Beechum scored 12 points for the Red Devils.

Panas 45, Putnam Valley 33: At Putnam Valley, Sam Sudol scored 19 points, and Megan Moreno had 18. Erin McCrudden, Reena Olsen and Alyssa Stockinger each had eight for the Tigers.

North Rockland 77, Nanuet 43: At North Rockland, Olivia Burden scored 19 points. Chloe Mullarky added 15 points and Ciera Rivera had 14. Dana Rohan had 16 for Nanuet.

Fox Lane 55, Westlake 43: At Fox Lane, Haley Gallagher had 18 points, 20 rebounds, six assists, and six steals. Christie Lombardi rhad 10 points, 11 assists and 18 rebounds. Faith Lovett scored all 21 of her points for the Wildcats from beyond the arc.

Beacon 50, Haldane 44: At Haldane, Allie Monteleone scored 21 points, including three 3-pointers..

Byram Hills 56, Croton-Harmon 48: At Byram Hills, Lucy Bancone had 23 points and five steals. Ashley Polera had 21 points and five steals. Dani Douglass had 22 points for the Tigers.

Poughkeepsie 50, Brewster 40: At Poughkeepsie, Tara D’Ottavio scored 12 points for the Bears. Brittany Deieso added 10.

John Jay 61, Tappan Zee 44: In the first round of the Horace Greeley Tournament, Delaney Spencer scored 19 points and Sydney Glenn had 18. Sasha Puglisi had 11 points and nine rebounds. Chrissie Ryan had 11 points for Tappan Zee. John Jay will play the winner of Horace Greeley/Hamilton in the championship game today at 5 p.m.

Pleasantville 53, Briarcliff 19: At Briarcliff, Ann Marie DiCarlo scored 14 points for the Panthers, who outscored the Bears 30-9 in the second half. Courtney Sheehy added 10 points. Marissa Contento scored seven points for the Bears.
