The Campbellsport girls volleyball team had a hiccup in the third game but regrouped for a 25-20, 25-18, 22-25, 25-16 EWC victory against visiting Kiel on Tuesday.
The Paige Birschbach-to-Kaity Murphy connection provided Kiel problems. Birschbach had 41 assists and Murphy finished with 24 kills to lead the Cougars, who also had eight apiece from Brooke Birschbach and Haley Feucht. Brooke Birschbach also served four aces.
Theresa Flood led four players in double figures in digs with 16, and Murphy blocked four shots.

Central Wisconsin Christian beat Winnebago Lutheran 25-19, 25-9, 25-23 on Tuesday in a nonconference match.
Keesha Herpel had seven kills, and Kristen Kok and Katrina Regnerus both registered five kills. Ellie Miller and Hannah Bresser served up four aces apiece and they split the setting duties with Miller having 13 assists and Bresser with nine.
Lydia Greenfield led the defensive effort with seven digs and Regnerus blocked four shots.
Waupun 3, Kewaskum 0
The Warriors won 25-21, 25-14 and 25-19 to compelte the sweep.
Blake Buchholz had seven kills and seven digs to lead the Warriors (31-13, 10-0 EWC) in both categories. She also had three blocks.
Kelsey Thompson and Emilee Wiersma added six kills apiece.
“It was nice to get a win on the road,” said Waupun coach Keith Milkowski. “I thought Blake swung well. We’re going to need her to play well down the stretch.”
