H.S. field hockey: Top Performers

* Ilona Maher, Burlington: Maher scored for the Seahorses just 90 seconds into overtime to give her team a 1-0 win over Champlain Vallley.

* Mikayla Humiston, Middlebury: Humiston was key to Middlebury winning their first game of the season, scoring two goals in a 4-0 victory over Colchester.

* Courtney Barrett, South Burlington: South Burlington won a 3-1 game over Middlebury and Barrett had a hand in all of the Rebels’ goals. Barrett scored twice and assisted on the third to lead South Burlington to the win.

* Camille Rainville, Missisquoi: Rainville went on a goal-scoring binge, striking four times in a 4-1 win over Spaulding and followed that up with a goal in 2-0 win over Milton.
