H.S. football: Top Performers


* David Lacroix, Colchester: The speedster factored in on all three of the Lakers’ touchdowns. He caught and ran for first-half scores, then aired out the winning TD on a halfback pass in the final minutes of a 28-21 win over MMU.

* Anthony Phillip, Rice: The sophomore defensive back had a fourth-quarter interception that led to the go-ahead touchdown in the Green Knights’ 16-8 win over rival Burlington.

Zack Rowling, Bellows Falls: The standout accounted for three touchdowns and 127 total yards to lead the Terriers to a 42-14 win over U-32.

* James Shufelt, Lyndon: The quarterback tossed 128 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 79 on the ground and another score to power the Vikings past North Country.
