Xavier James completed 14 passes for 250 yards and four touchdowns for East.
Rico Gafford scored three touchdowns for the Scarlets with 132 receiving yards, and he added a 96-yard kickoff return.
Jordan Cheatem also scored on a 95-yard kickoff return for Lincoln.
East won its third straight game and will play at Southeast Polk next week.

Ames, Ia. — Ames quarterback Sam Straub threw for a game-high 401 yards and three touchdowns.
Straub, who completed 31-of-52 passes, outgunned Marshalltown quarterback Blake Gimbel who tallied 390 yards in the air.
Mike Mayberry and Alex Brammer each finished with 161 receiving yards for the Little Cyclones.
Gimbel, who tossed two touchdown passes, also booted a 48-yard field goal.
