DIVISION 3 REGIONAL FINAL

R1: St. Johns (8-3) 66.222 at DeWitt (9-2) 88.778, 7 p.m. today -The Panthers have six new starters since a 34-20 win on Sept. 21 at St. Johns, including sophomore quarterback Jacob Johnson. The winner will face either Grand Rapids Christian (10-1) or Stevensville Lakeshore (11-0) in a state semifinal next weekend.

DIVISION 5 REGIONAL FINAL

R3: Portland (10-1) 91.444 at Flint Powers Catholic (11-0) 103.111, 7 p.m. today –The Raiders next face a team which blasted Lansing Catholic 56-26 to win the state title last year. Among the undefeated Chargers’ 11 wins this fall was a 34-12 victory against a Saginaw Nouvel Catholic team that edged Lansing Catholic 33-28 on Aug. 30. Lansing Catholic is the only team that has beaten Portland in 2012 (41-32 on Oct. 5). Portland has rolled to its first ever regional final with a 48-6 win over Leslie and a 36-0 victory over Olivet. The winner will meet either River Rouge (11-0) or Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard (10-1) in a state semifinal.

DIVISION 6 REGIONAL FINAL

R2: Montrose Hill-McCloy (10-1) 83.556 at Ithaca (11-0) 87.111, 7 p.m. today – Montrose has won 10 straight since a 47-26 season-opening loss to a Reese team that won 10 straight before losing to Saginaw Nouvel Catholic last week. The two-time GAC Red champion Rams lost 28-13 to Ithaca one round earlier a year ago when they were 10-0. The winner will play either Shelby (9-2) or Negaunee (10-1) in a state semifinal.

DIVISION 7 REGIONAL FINAL

R2: Pewamo-Westphalia (8-3) 52.222 at Decatur (9-2) 56.667, 1 p.m. Saturday – Decatur’s only losses were 26-19 to Watervliet and 38-7 to a Lawton team on Sept. 21 the Raiders eliminated by a 34-3 score a week ago. P-W has won 41-10 and 48-12 in its first two playoff games. The Pirates’ only setbacks came against teams that made Ford Field in Diviison 5 or 8 last year: 45-21 to Lansing Catholic on Aug. 24, 14-0 to Fowler on Oct. 5, and 15-12 to Mendon on Oct. 19. The winner faces either Lake City (10-1) 62.222 at Ishpeming (10-1) in a state semifinal.

8-MAN SEMIFINAL

SF2: Deckerville (10-1) 61.333 vs. Portland St. Patrick (11-0) 62.222 at Portland, 3 p.m. Saturday – Deckerville has had only two losing seasons since 1977, made the playoffs nearly every year in Division 7 or 8, and lost 20-13 to Fulton in a regional final just two years ago. This fall in 8-man football, the Eagles’ only loss was 32-8 to a Cedarville team that went 9-0 in the regular season before losing to Rapid River last week. The winner will play either Rapid River (10-1) at Marquette or Bellaire (8-3) at Greenville a week from today.
