At Pickaway Country Club, West Muskingum’s Erica Mawhorr and Rosecrans’ Leah Baughman fell short of a state berth Monday in the Division II district.

Mawhorr carded an 89, and Baughman shot a 91 in the individual competition.

The top three teams and individuals from non-qualifying teams reached the state, set for next week at Ohio State’s Gray Course.

Wellston’s Annie Miller (75), Columbus Academy’s Chloe Brandon (77) and Centerburg’s Faithe Carr (81) advanced as individuals as Circleville Logan Elm won with 351, followed by Williamsport Westfall (360) and Claymont (367).

Claymont’s Shelby Thompson was medalist with 71.
