Okemos will try to improve on a 12th-place finish in Division 2 from a year ago, and Alma from a seventh in Division 3 during girls swimming and diving state finals today and Saturday.
The Chiefs qualified athletes in seven individual events and three relays, and St. Johns in two individual events and three relays for the Division 2 finals at Oakland University in Rochester.
In Division 3 at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Alma athletes will compete in 10 individual events and three relays, DeWitt in five and two, and Haslett in four and one, respectively. Williamston/Lansing Christian qualified two divers and a relay, and Ionia one individual in two events.
Grand Ledge also qualified one individual for the Division 1 meet at the Holland Aquatics Center.
