The Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary football team is set to play in the program’s sixth state championship game on Saturday when the Fighting Irish (12-2) play the Bellevue Redmen (13-1) in the Division III title tilt at Paul Brown Paul Tiger Stadium in Massillon.
St. Vincent-St. Mary is in search of its fifth state championship while Bellevue will be making its first-ever state final appearance.
Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.
