Jordyn Williams leads Susquehanna Valley in girls soccer


Jordyn Williams scored twice as Susquehanna Valley pounded Windsor 6-3 in Southern Tier Athletic Conference girls soccer on Tuesday.

Lindsay Gregory scored 4:30 into the game, and SV (2-4-2) never trailed en route to their first STAC win of the year.

Gregory and Rosemary Zelenyak each finished with a goal and two assists and Emily Cortese had a goal and an assist for SV.

Heather Launt made 12 saves for Windsor.

Johnson City
3, Chenango Valley 0: JC blanked CV on their way to a 3-3 overall record being led by Ashley Conolly’s two goals. Ashleigh Weir had 12 saves for the Warriors.

Union Endicott 2, Ithaca 2: Ithaca’s Elora Becraft scored her second goal with 42 seconds left in the second overtime to force a tie. Ithaca scored twice on four shots while Amy Shmoys had seven saves.

Kelcie Goham and Liz Urda both had goals for U-E (1-4-2).

Oneonta 1, Seton 0: Taylor Hitchcock tapped a loose ball to Taryn More, who scored the lone goal of the game midway through the second half.


Union-Endicott 3, Ithaca 0: Gretchen Gartman had 4 aces, 13 kills and 3 blocks to lead U-E .

3, Chenango Forks 2: Rachel Serva had five aces, six kills, and four blocks for host Forks.


Owego 4, Seton CC 3: Owego advances to 10-1 on the season, and takes a 1-game lead over Seton in the central Division standings with one match to play. Seton won the first two matches during singles play but eventually lost as Owego took the next four out of five.


Windsor 207, Oneonta 239: Nate Wrighter had an even-par 36, including two birdies for Windsor (9-3). Oneonta fell to 0-11 but Mitchell Couch added two birdies en route to shooting a 38. The match was held on the front 9 of Belden Hill.

Horseheads 205, M-E 223: Nathanial Short shot a 43 for M-E (10-2).

Chenango Forks 182, Seton 214: Keenan Conrad birdied number 5, Dan Gridley and Justin Lake both birdied 5 and 9 to lead Chenango Forks.
