Coach’s comment: I feel that our season outlook is a positive one! Our Strengths are that amongst our Varsity and J.V team there are experienced players with strong tactical and leadership skills. But perhaps my favorite strength is the positive attitudes and a love for the game is a shared.
Our Challenges this season are that we are a relatively young program that has changed leadership multiple times; therefore emphasis in consistency of high expectations has been put into place. Yet another challenge is due to our community’s explosion in growth, our teams technical skills are diverse and need to be developed for individual growth as well as team growth.
Our Goal this year is to have a winning attitude and demonstrate solid tactical and technical skills throughout the duration of our season which will hopefully lend them-selves to an exciting and rewarding overall outcome.

Coach’s comment: Our team is very deep in talent. The starting 11 will be difficult to decide once training camp is over and the season begins. The top 11 will be very good at possession and scoring as well as tough to score against. That could be our weakness as well if all of the players don’t accept the entire team approach. We will need all 19 players to accept their role on the team. We know our opponents that we play this season and should do pretty well against them. Our goal is to be in the top 16 so that we can play in the state tournament. Then it’s one game at a time.

Key newcomers: Asaiah Hooks, defender, junior, very fast with ability to stay with opposition attackers
D’Randa Hooks, forward/defender, freshman, quick feet and strong to be able to play with upperclassmen.
