The No. 6-seeded Kiel baseball team got on the scoreboard early and often in defeating visiting No. 11 Sheboygan Lutheran-Kohler 22-1 in five innings on Monday evening in a regional opener of the WIAA Summer Baseball Tournament.
The Raiders started the game by scoring 10 runs in the first two innings and never let the Crusaders gain any momentum.

With the win Kiel (6-18) advances to take on No. 3 Plymouth (21-7). The pair will meet on Friday at 5:30 p.m. in Plymouth.
Two Rivers 15, Oostburg 3 (5)
Andrew Nebel got things started for the No. 12-seeded visiting Raiders, smashing a bases-clearing double during a seven-run second inning.
Nebel (3-for-4) added a three-run homer in the fourth to finish with a game-high six RBI.
Brett Kasper got the win for Two Rivers over the No. 5 Flying Dutchmen (11-11), allowing three runs — two earned — on four hits with six strikeouts.
Kasper (2-for-3) would make his presence felt at the plate by hitting a pair of two-RBI doubles in the third and fourth innings for four RBI.
Two Rivers (9-12) hosts No. 13 Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah (8-15) on Friday.
