The Blackman girls soccer squad won the Sycamore High Soccer tournament this weekend.

The Lady blaze outscored their competition 25-1 en route to the title.

Blackman defeated Montgomery Central 5-0 to reach the tournament finals. Scoring for the Lady Blaze were Megan Woods, Destiny Summerville, Colleen Kennedy, Courtney Guile and Kayla Reynolds. Assists by Hannah Bieze, Jessica Reece and Megan Woods.

Blackman trounced West Creek 8-0 in the championship. Goals were scored by Megan Woods (three), Reagan Dempsey (two), Kayla Taylor, Jessica Reece and Brittany Terry. Hannah Bieze, Colleen Kennedy, Courtney Guile, Kayla Taylor, Megan Woods and Lindsey Williams each notched an assist.

Lauren Woods was named tournament MVP. Reynolds, Bieze, Kennedy and Megan Woods were named all-tournament.

Blackman plays host to Columbia at 5 p.m. Tuesday against Columbia.
