West Branch made quick work of English Valleys, winning 11-0 in five innings.

The Bears were led by Shannon Laing, who hit 3-for-3 with four RBIs, including a 2-run home run.

Heather Poulaq hit 2-for-2 with three runs scored and two stolen bases, Mckenna Sexton hit 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Lexi Baylor had two RBIs for West Branch (9-4).

* L-M 12, IMS 1 (5): Iowa Mennonite lost Tuesday to Lousia-Muscatine in Letts.

The lone run came when Keilah Brokaw doubled in McKayla Brush. IMS is 3-5.

* MEDIAPOLIS 10, LONE TREE 0 (5): The Lions were held to just two hits and hurt by six errors Tuesday in Mediapolis.

Ella Feldman and Avery Edwards recorded hits for Lone Tree (4-9, 4-2 SEISC).

Monday

* HIGHLAND 5, WMU 1: Courtnee Hahn hit 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI Monday for the Huskies.

Mariah Freel struck out six and scattered six hits. Morgan Fisher and Alison Sojka each hit 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Bridget Murphy also had two hits.

“The only negative is we left way too many on base,” Highland coach Carrie Wieland said.

“But that’s a good problem to have.”

* MID-PRAIRIE 12, WEST LIBERTY 1 (5): Jessica Newton had a hit and scored the lone run for the Comets.

Kristi Feldman had a hit and an RBI.

Shelby Martin struck out six for West Liberty (3-6).
