Junior quarterback Billy DeMato and senior wide receiver Ishmael Hyman teamed up for a 25-yard touchdown pass on a slant pattern on the first play of overtime and the St. John Vianney defense held Raritan on downs as the Lancers recorded a 19-13 overtime win in a Shore Conference Class A Central game.

DeMato also threw TD passes to Steve Callari and Julanee Prince.

FREEHOLD TWP. 21, MIDD. NORTH 17: Dan Bloodgood’s 65-yard TD pass to Taylor Pine with 3:17 remaining capped a fourth-quarter comeback from a 10-point deficit and gave the Patriots (2-6, 2-4) the win over the Lions (2-6, 2-3) in a Class A North game.

Bloodgood had pulled Freehold Township within 17-14 with a 55-yard TD run off a scramble.

LAKEWOOD 18, POINT BORO 0: Tyrice Beverette ran for two TDs and threw a TD pass to junior wide receiver Mike Randolph as the Piners (6-2, 5-2) defeated the Panthers (5-4, 4-3) in a Class B South game.

Defensive lineman Datrelle Reed had three sacks and linebacker Marquis Oliver had two sacks for the Piners.

LACEY 42, BRICK MEMORIAL 0: Christian Tutella ran for two TDs and scored another on a pass from Conor Davies as the Lions (9-0, 7-0) defeated the Mustangs (5-4, 3-4) in a Class A South game..

Chris Jensen had two TDs, one on a screen pass from Davies, the other when he stripped a Mustangs’ ballcarrier and ran for a TD. Davies also threw a TD pass to R.J. Kurtz.

RB CATHOLIC 41, MONMOUTH 6: Larry Redaelli ran for two TDs and Chris Whitlock returned an interception for a TD and blocked a punt that Pat Drum fell on in the end zone for a TD as the Caseys (8-0, 5-0) clinched a tie for the Class A Central championship with a win over the Falcons (1-7, 1-5).

Jesse Flaherty and Mike Cordova also ran for TDs for Red Bank Catholic, which will likely host either Monsignor Donovan or Camden Catholic in the first round of the Non-Public Group III playoffs.
