The Manitowoc American Legion baseball team completed its regular season on Tuesday, falling in six innings on the road to Green Bay Southwest 12-2 in a make-up of a previous rain out.
The Legion was outhit by a narrow margin, 8-6, and was undone by committing three errors.
Nick Spurney took the loss for Manitowoc (9-16), lasting two innings and allowing three runs — two earned — on two hits with four walks and one strikeout.
Offensively, Jordan Witczak led the Legion by going 2-for-3 at the plate.
Manitowoc hosts a four-team regional which begins Thursday, with their first game being a re-match against Green Bay at 4:30 p.m.
