The Manitowoc Legion baseball team’s Michael Longmeyer was selected on Monday to the Fox River Valley American Legion Baseball Team.

Longmeyer batted .349 during the season with an on-base percentage of .526. He lead Manitowoc in on-base percentage, runs scored (27), walks (29) and stolen bases (7).

As an all-conference selection, Longmeyer will play in the League All-Star Team game on Aug. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute. The game will feature 54 of the league’s top players divided among the American and National Conference.
