The Manitowoc Lincoln boys and girls cross country teams took part in the Racine Horlick Invite at UW-Parkside on Saturday, with the girls finishing 15th out of 20 teams and the boys 17th of 21.

Taylor Albright was the highest finisher for the girls, coming in 47th with a time of 16:50.8 followed by Nicole Temme (62nd, 17:08.3). For the boys, Michael Thompson (18:00.4) was 44th and Amari Bauer (18:37.0) 67th.

“After last week’s meet in 90 degree, humid conditions, it was good to get in a race with much better conditions,” said Lincoln cross country coach Len Nikolai via e-mail. “Every runner today ran faster than last week on a much more challenging course.”
