The Manitowoc Lincoln girls cross country team totaled 74 points to finish second behind winner Hortonville’s 27 at the Brillion Invite on Tuesday.
The Lincoln girls were led by Miranda Gove who finished seventh with a time of 15:13.43 behind Hortonville winner Sarah Glidden’s 14:36.98. Roncalli, which finished sixth with 151, was led by Meghan Jacoby, who was 19th (15:53.76). Mishicot, which did not qualify as a team, was led by Melissa LeCaptain as she finished 22nd (16:08.32).
On the boys side, Roncalli was fourth with 106 and Manitowoc Lincoln was fifth with 139. The Jets were led by Ben Wicklacz (13th, 17:22.12) and the Ships by Mike Thompson (seventh, 16:51.60) as both finished behind Oostburg winner Sam Wensink’s 16:15.48. Mishicot’s John Egdorf was 25th (18:00.40)
