He knows the fight song.

He knows the players.

90 year old Robert Lebsak, knows Loveland football.

“Fact is I surely enjoy coming to football games. It’s part of my life,” Lebsak told 9News.

Lebsak won a state title for Loveland, in 1939. He graduated the next year. But something brought him back to the games.

“I had an attraction to 1 of the girls in the band,” said Lebsak.

He eventually married that girl and the 2 continued to go to Indian games.

“She was with me at every game, she passed away last December,” said Lebsak.

However, he is still in his seat on chilly Fall nights, surrounded by family.

He simply doesn’t miss games.

Since his playing days in 1936, Lebsak has seen all but 5 Loveland games! Home, or away.

“I used to jump up and down and holler a lot, but now I just sit a lot,” he said laughing. “It gets tougher every year. But I plan on continuing as long as the Lord will let me, I’m shooting for 105.”

That’s 15 more seasons. Want to bet against him? After 70 plus years he doesn’t just know Loveland football. He is Loveland football.

“I enjoy coming back, I’ll come back as long as I can.”
