The Lomira/Theresa American Legion baseball team scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to beat Ripon 5-4 in Brownsville on Tuesday night.
Dylan Bloch drove in the first run of the inning with a single. L/T still trailed with two outs, when winning pitcher Mitch Luedtke delivered a two-run single to win the game. Jordan Beck rounded third and scored after the Ripon left fielder sailed his throw over the catcher’s head.
Luedtke struggled in the first inning allowing three runs on one hit, but settled down to go the distance with six strikeouts and only four hits allowed.
L/T (7-7), which lost 15-0 in its first game against Ripon this season, goes to Watertown on Thursday.
