Bordentown senior forward Alexis McTamney continued her outstanding season by recording a hat trick for the top-seeded Scotties girls soccer team as they defeated No. 14 seed Manasquan, 3-0, in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II final on Tuesday afternoon.

McTamney scored at 11:45, 38:44 and 55:00 for the Scotties (17-5). It was McTamney’s 10th hat trick in her last 11 games and she has 56 goals on the season. Bordentown goalie Allison Potts made five saves for her seventh shutout this season.

Manasquan goalie Bridget Ford made 15 saves.

IN BOYS & GIRLS LACROSSE

The Rumson-Fair Haven boys and girls lacrosse team announced their college commitments. Rumson-Fair Haven boys lacrosse coach Reid Jackson will send senior attackman Michael Clarke to the University of Vermont and senior midfielder Conor Walsh to Fairfield University. Rumson-Fair Haven girls lacrosse coach Amy Wylde will send senior midfielder Kelsey Cuje to Rutgers University, senior defender/midfielder Annie Gilbertson to Bucknell University and senior attack Emily Knapp to the University of Colorado at Boulder

St. John Vianney seniors Kathleen Egan (Iona) and Lyndsay Rowe (Wagner) have announced their college plans.

St. John senior Amanda Durham (Bowling Green) has made her college choice.
